Product Features
Made from the sapwood of Shimanto hinoki cypress, approximately 70-80 years old, known for its vitality. The wood has a beautiful pale pink color and is rich in natural oils, giving it excellent water repellency.
Constructed from flexible and elastic Shimanto hinoki heartwood, assembled to create a gentle cutting surface that reduces stress on knife tips.
After use, the included stand allows the cutting board to be stored upright, promoting ventilation and quick drying.
To reduce common problems like blackening, discoloration, and cracking in wooden cutting boards, a prepolymer coating is applied only to the end grain of the cutting board.
Notes
Do not use a dishwasher, as it may cause the cutting board to crack or deform.
This product is made by splicing multiple pieces of wood and is not a single, solid piece of wood.
